Compliance & Governance
We operate under a clear compliance and governance framework designed to support safe, transparent, and accountable medical procurement.
As an independent consultancy, our role is to facilitate procurement processes not to manufacture, distribute, or supply medical products. All purchasing decisions remain the responsibility of the buyer.
Supplier Verification
All suppliers engaged through our platform are subject to an initial verification process appropriate to the products and services they offer. This may include review of:
- Regulatory registration (e.g. UKCA / CE marking, MHRA registration where applicable)
- Quality management systems (such as ISO 13485 or equivalent)
- Product traceability and recall procedures
- Distribution authorisations and scope of supply
Verification does not replace the buyer’s own due diligence but provides an additional layer of assurance.
Regulatory Alignment
Our processes are designed to align with relevant UK and international medical device and healthcare procurement standards, including:
- UK medical device regulatory requirements
- Applicable MHRA guidance
- Good procurement practice within healthcare settings
We do not provide clinical advice, product certification, or regulatory approvals.
Pricing Transparency
We are committed to transparent and fair pricing practices:
- Pricing is obtained through structured requests for quotation or proposal
- Supplier submissions are reviewed and normalised to enable fair comparison
- We do not permit undisclosed incentives, rebates, or preferential treatment
- Any commercial arrangements are disclosed in line with our governance principles
Our objective is to support informed decision-making, not to influence outcomes.
Data Protection & Confidentiality
Independence & Conflicts of Interest
Audit & Accountability
We take data protection and confidentiality seriously.
- Commercially sensitive information is handled on a need-to-know basis
- Buyer requirements are anonymised during supplier engagement where appropriate
- Data is managed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR
We operate independently of manufacturers and distributors.
- We do not hold inventory or promote specific brands
- Any potential conflicts of interest are identified and managed
- Our consultancy role is separate from supplier commercial activity
This independence allows us to act objectively and in the best interests of our clients.
Our procurement processes are documented and traceable.
Where required, we can provide:
- An audit trail of supplier engagement
- Pricing comparison summaries
- Records of governance checks undertaken
This supports internal review, external audit, and organisational accountability.
